Job Title : - Site Incharge-Growing Ops
Responsibilities: -
Oversee and manage daily operations of the growing site, including planting, harvesting, and processing
activities.
Ensure optimal growing conditions by monitoring and adjusting environmental factors such as light,
water, nutrients, and temperature.
Supervise and coordinate labour crews, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and enforcing
safety standards.
Manage inventory and resources, including seeds, fertilizers and equipment, to ensure availability for
continuous production cycles.
Track growth progress and conduct routine quality checks to maintain high production standards.
Implement and monitor pest and disease management practices to protect crops and ensure high yields.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, including labour hours, crop health, and yield data, and report
findings to upper management.
Identify areas for improvement and work with management to implement more efficient processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, or a related field.
- Proven experience(min 5years) in a similar role, ideally with hands-on experience in large-scale growing or farming operations.
- Strong knowledge of crop management and environmental control methods.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in record-keeping and basic data analysis; experience with farm management software is a plus.
